Brewing Excellence

Britain is a nation of beer lovers and has been brewing ales for over 1000 years. This proud heritage and island status has perhaps prevented discerning drinkers from exploring the exciting world of different beer styles.

Have you ever tried a properly lagered (stored cold for a long period) Pilsner from Plzen in the Czech Republic or a full-flavoured, crafted American Pale Ale from California?

These beers are increasingly available as imports, but why should you have to drink a beer that has travelled thousands of miles, often over many weeks?

I set up Mitchell Krause Brewing in Workington, Cumbria to craft brew a collection of the world’s classic beer styles. For each beer, I use the finest grains, hops and yeast and respect the local brewing traditions to deliver absolute authenticity. The result is a range of delicious, British-brewed beers of exceptional quality.
